I have been taking my dogs to Weston Kennels since early 2000.  I had become dissatisfied with my previous kennel (I have had Labrador Retrievers for over 40 years) because of cleanliness issues and the fact that my dog often returned home with one problem or another.  My vet recommended Weston Kennels and after one thirty-five mile round trip to check out the facility I decided that Chris and Eileen Testo would provide the best care for my best friend.  At the time our daughter was on the collegiate softball circuit and we spent many weeks away from home necessitating extensive kennel time for our Lab, Maggie.  In 2003 the dog went blind and in 2005 developed a severe respiratory problem but Chris and Eileen took wonderful care of her and she always returned happy and healthy (to the extent her health conditions permitted) from Weston Kennels.  When Maggie died in 2007 we adopted Joey, one of the Testos' exceptional purebred Labs and he has turned into the dog of a lifetime;  perfect in every way.  We continue to board him at Weston Kennels and, as was the case with Maggie, he always returns to us happy and in perfect condition.  In contrast, I have boarded him three times in Florida during our winters there and in two of those cases he has returned to us with intestinal issues.  This has NEVER happened at Weston Kennels.

In summary, I have used Weston Kennels extensively for thirteen years and have ALWAYS  been completely satisfied with the care my dog has  received from the Testos.  It has always been and continues to be well worth the trip from my home in Slingerlands, N.Y.  I give the facility my highest recommendation.

My name is Morgan. I am a blue merle Shetland sheep dog (sheltie). For over eleven years, my present and past sheltie sisters and I have enjoyed our special vacations at Weston Kennels with “Uncle Chris” and “Aunt Eileen”.

  We very much enjoy our clean, comfortable and environmentally controlled kennels. On each occasion, we look forward to reuniting with our old K-9 friends and the making of new pals.

  Our fellow guests all have been properly vaccinated and are free from harboring critters. With Uncle Chris and Aunt Eileen’s animal husbandry expertise, we are never concerned should we need health attention.

  We hope you too will allow your four-legged family members to join us at the Inn at Weston Kennels in its pastoral setting.

  Fantastic site guys!!! But it isn't big enough to explain to people how wonderful you both have been to our "kids" over these past almost 20 years. I can't thank you enough for all you do.

Chris and Eileen treat our dogs like their own and provide a great service at a reasonable price. The kennels are always clean, indoors and out, and each dog has their own run with an indoor and outdoor area for themselves. They also are let out into a larger area to exercise each day. The place is in a beautiful rural setting, set back from the road. It's the only place I trust with our canine family members.

           We only use Weston Boarding kennels. They are great . My dog Guiness has alot of fun there . We highly recommend them .
